This year has been full of a lot of adventure for us. Most of all, we’ve seen a lot of firsts for Hailee Grace.

2025 marked the end of Hailee’s time at The Learning Experience as she graduated from Pre-School. We are so grateful for the teachers who poured into her there and helped prepare her for Kindergarten. She also had 2 days a week of “Gigi School” and learned to READ! She was so anxious to begin learning and Gigi jumped right into action and started teaching her. She was already several BOB Books in before the summer!

In August, Hailee Grace became a Lion as she started school at Harvest Christian Academy. We have the honor and legacy of all that Gigi, Pops&Mike, and her uncles poured into the school at its founding. She LOVES that she is sitting in rooms and desks that her family prayed over long before we ever knew she would be a student there.

We also started focusing on her financial education this year with Financial Peace Kids from Ramsey Solutions. She has embraced it with all of the energy “Papa Dave” would hope! She earns commission based on the work she completes during the week and sets goals. 10% to giving, 20% to saving, 20% to investment, and 50% to spending. She gets an interest payment from the bank of Mom and Dad each month as well. She’s been setting her goals and reaching them every few weeks. It’s so amazing to see her so proud to buy her ticket for the adventure park with her own money. Fun fact: She really LOVES to give a tip!

In October, Hailee Grace turned 6 and she is growing up so much! She’s full of courage and tries adventurous things! She’s started Rock Climbing this year and had her first real round on a real golf course. She is so brave and inspires us!

We are grateful for all that this year has brought. There will be more updates in the coming days as we are walking through some loss at the moment.

Our prayer for you is that 2026 will be full of life and love and all of the redemption you can find. Keep Knockin’ at the door of heaven and see what God will bring this year.
