Merry Christmas, Everyone!

We’ve just had a lovely Thanksgiving with Nick’s brother and his family, his mom, and his uncle. It was a pretty laid back day with delicious food and lots of fun. Hailee Grace was so excited to have some cousin time. They camped out upstairs in tent pods, ran all over Gigi’s new backyard, and just generally enjoyed spending time together.

I still have some things I want to write about this year. Some of the highlights were traveling with some Giardinos, taking Gigi on her first cruise, and taking Hailee Grace to her first LIV Golf Tour in Bolingbrook. (She’s a big Range Goats fan – especially Bubba Watson!).

But, for now, we want to wish you and yours the happiest Christmas season and we pray that it’s full of joy and laughter. We also know that this time of year can bring sadness as well. Hailee Grace was hanging an ornament on the tree that has a picture of her, Gigi, and “Pops and Mike” and she told him “I’ll always remember you”. Nick and I were a mess. We love that she knew him, but we miss him so much. These are the moments we long for heaven and the reunions that await. Until then, we will always remember him, too. May you find sweetness amidst any sadness you’re experiencing this year.
